Obviously you need to focus on one specific goal. If it pays, you can have a surplus that will allow you to achieve your other goals.
Take some basic accounting classes. If you decide to run any small business anywhere in the US — and especially in blue states, you will absolutely need a good tax accountant.
As for the chocolate thing: learn cheaply from the masters, but do your own thing.
As for the fine arts thing: price it high so people will know how valuable your work is. It will sell, even if it's mediocre in your opinion.
There is a lot you can do, but anything you attempt must be fiscally self-sustaining. Hence my suggestion about accounting. Boring, I know. I started my company 18 years ago, I detest the tax and government regulation hassles, and I job most of the nastiest stuff out to professionals. I now dislike accounting, but I certainly appreciate it, and it would be necessary for a chocolate shop, a greeting card operation, or anything else that is done for commerce.
